Think Of Me

Reno, you silly forgot Think Of Me! I agree that the other songs rock too, but this one is my favorite. Angel Of Music is probably second on the list, followed by Music of the Night in a close third.
I absolutelly love the lyrics! This song is absolutelly beautiful, whether it means anything to you or not. But if it doesn't touch your heart...I think there's something wrong with you.
I agree with Reno...Phantom Of The Opera is a fabulous musical gone book gone movie, although I've only seen the movie. I can imagine the book is good, too...ask Reno. But I bet the musical blows them all out of the water.
Anyway, here are the lyrics to Think Of Me... In the movie, the female vocals are sung by Christine, and the male vocals are sung by Raoul.

Think Of Me
From the Film Phantom Of The Opera

{female vocals}
Think of me, think of me fondly,
when we've said goodbye.
Remember me once in a while -
please promise me you'll try.
When you find that, once again, you long
to take your heart back and be free -
if you ever find a moment,
spare a thought for me

We never said our love was evergreen,
or as unchanging as the sea -
but if you can still remember
stop and think of me . . .

Think of all the things
we've shared and seen -
don't think about the things
which might have been . . .

Think of me, think of me waking,
silent and resigned.
Imagine me, trying too hard
to put you from my mind.
Recall those days
look back on all those times,
think of the things we'll never do -
there will never be a day,
when I won't think of you . . .

{male vocals}
Can it be? Can it be Christine?
Long ago, it seems so long ago
How young and innocent we were...
She may not remember me,
but I remember her...

{female vocals}
Flowers fades,
The fruits of summer fade,
They have decisions, so do we
but please promise me, that sometimes
you will think of me!

Love Always Reno said...

Ok, I appologize, I adore Think of Me as well, I guess I don't care for the tune as much so it didn't pop into my head at first when I thought of my favorite songs, lyrically I think it's my second fave, behind Music of the Night...but you're right, silly Reno, I should have put that on there too....
